A pentacyclic triterpene with diverse biological activities; reduces PMA-induced ROS and Hsp72 production in isolated human neutrophils at 10 and 100 µM and increases Hsp72 production in unstimulated isolated human neutrophils at 100 µM; reduces protein levels of RNF31 and increases levels of LC3-I/II in HCT116 and SW480 cells at 50 µg/ml; reduces arachidonic acid-, croton oil-, or PMA-induced ear edema in mice at 46 µg/ear
